The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan
4.0

Listened to this on audio and really enjoyed the narrator.
I really liked how Nina grew as a person through the book. At first, I found her super frustrating because she wouldn't do anything to help herself out but she later grew into herself. She probably frustrated me because I'm so similar to her. I'm not as quiet and timid as her, but I do find it hard to get out of my shell and take big risks.
The fact that they were closing all the libraries in this book made me so sad. I love libraries and would love to work in one. Libraries are an important community resource, and while technology centres are a good resource as well, books are something that you just can't replace.

I just overall enjoyed this book. It didn't knock me out of the park, but I enjoyed every minute of listening to it.
