there is a lot to like about this book! i'm glad that ann de bourgh is getting her backstory moment. the heiress didn't feel like austen (which is probably good?) but it was a lovely story about healing and strength and a woman's relationship to her landscape (which is admittedly an austenian feature). i thought greeley's handling of the characters introduced in p&p was pretty solid, but i was definitely more excited about the characters she invented. finally, and i cannot stress this enough: MORE LESBIAN ADAPTATIONS OF AUSTEN'S WORKS! THANKS :)
