A simple, slice-of-life story, well-told. No fireworks, gimmicks, high concepts, or swoony romance; just a story about a thoughtful, sensitive 15 year old guy in a small Southern town trying to figure things out about himself and love and the world at a pivotal time in his life. It's a rewarding examination of a young man's emotional life and his relationships with his best friend, his family, and others as he begins the road to becoming an adult. I loved it.
