Small Change by Roan Parrish
4.0

This was incredibly cute? I've yet to read anything by Roan Parrish so I had no idea what to expect, but this so much cuter than I had thought it would be.

The chemistry between Christopher and Ginger was so good from the start, and I love how open communication was shown as a very important thing for them from the first meet as well. Not to mention Christopher is the epitome of SOFT, I couldn't handle it. I even teared up a couple of times in scenes where he was just being so earnest in how hard he was into Ginger.

Also, his character was incredibly relatable for me, especially in terms of him thriving on others needing him and being their for them, and the effort he puts into showing the ones he loves that he's on their side no matter what. And Ginger was also so relatable in how she guarded her self. And I love the way it's shown and how she's aware of it to a certain level but it doesn't stop those walls from going up.

This was one of those opposites attract books where the way they are opposite is shown to benefit them as a couple, in a really well done way. Also romances that really focus on the importance of vulnerability in a relationship make me weak.

I also loved the way Ginger's tattoo shop is established as a safe space for lgbtq+ people and the variety of rep from the community. I'm very intrigued by Faron & I would love to see a book for him. Same for Morgan, Jude, as well as Marcus; although unlikely since he already has a solid relationship.

There were just one or two things that I side eyed in passing, but overall this was a 4 star read. I will be checking out more from this author for sure!
