I loved the Couple Next Door, so I was looking forward to reading this novel. What a disappointment. I thought the book was horribly written. There just seemed to be this distance with all of the characters. It felt very sterile and I didn't feel a connection with any of the characters. It was all very bland. The plot was decent, but it could've been so much better.
