4 stars. Hot damn! *clutches pearls* Woo! That was...something. Goodness gracious. This definitely should've been longer.
I liked the writing enough, it was easy to get through and the pacing was pretty decent. I loved the Vegas setting and the characters were interesting.
The smut, tho? That *clap* smut *clap* tho?
The smut is.on.point. Like, really freaking good. I needed a cigarette after reading this.
Max is a filthy, filthy bastard with a filthy mouth and I absolutely love him! From the moment he's introduced I was just as intrigued by him as Ethan was. He had a very interesting thing going on with himbeing celibate but he's a Dom through and through. I think he's probably one of the hottest and filthiest talking Doms I've come across thus far.
Ethan is the cutest thing ever! I like that he was a badass and could take down people and he wanted to work for the FBI. He was a great and witty character with a good head on his shoulders. I loved his determination and his humor. He and Max are just so perfect together. Ugh, I need the next book and I'm kinda salty that this was not even 200pgs. I wish the first and second books had been combined into one but that's just me being greedy.
Overall, I'd re-read this in a heartbeat. It was quick and fun and dirty. No complaints from me.
