The Rain by Joseph A. Turkot
3.0
I seem to keep stumbling onto books that are marketed like serious speculative or science/climate fiction, but are actually very young adult in semi-serious wrappers.

Even though it wasn't what I had hoped for, it was decent and a fast read. Admittedly I'm over the YA aspect of a lot of these novels, and wish there was a way to weed them out beforehand.
