Fans of [b:Twilight|41865|Twilight (Twilight, #1)|Stephenie Meyer|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1361039443s/41865.jpg|3212258] will probably enjoy this series. Folks who found Meyer's series cloying and melodramatic and overblown and predictable will find the same things to complain about here. Interesting premise, but oh, the two-dimensional characters and their weighted-down exchanges just hurt after a while. The series apparently has a decent following, but just the first one was plenty for me, thanks.
