This was a delightful look into Cardan's past. Cardan is one of those characters that I just had a feeling wasn't nearly as vile as he led people to believe. When we first meet him, we are also seeing him through the eyes of someone who hates all the Fae.

I really enjoyed this book, and I kind of wish I hadn't read it so fast, or that it was longer. I wouldn't mind reading other parts of The Folk of Air from Cardan's POV. I'd actually love that, there are several scenes I'd love to read.
I love this, but I didn't give it 5 stars because I kind of felt that some things were glossed over a little, I would have liked more detail.
