Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents: how to heal from distant, rejecting, or self-Involved-parents by Lindsay C. Gibson
4.0
This book was very thorough and packed with info. I like that it was presented without bias. Some books you can tell the author prefers a certain outcome, as if their book has magically fixed your relationships. Not this one. It's very open and I don't feel judged for my feelings about my situation. It's a little cheesy at times, but overall, I'd recommend to someone who is struggling with their adult relationship with their parents. It shines a lot of light on different aspects, reasons, situations, and even some solutions to try. I found it very validating for my experiences and resulting emotions.
