The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson
3.0
The plot moves slowly in the first half with considerable setup for the reappearance but then had significant, even surprising twists - kudos to Jackson for building in enough foreshadowing that the clues were there in hindsight but still managed to just click into focus as the characters put the pieces together. However, I found the ending to be ridiculously implausible and Bel's rudeness and attitude kept her unsympathetic even once all the gaslighting and family secrets were revealed.
