This was my first DNF of the year. I don’t think I’ll be finishing this series. I didn’t love the first book but I did like the romance portion and I thought this would focus more on it and it does.
I don’t think it’s a bad book by any means, but it is not something I am interested in. I tried switching to audiobook to see if it would help but it didn’t.
It’s a romcom mystery book-which could be for you.
I didn’t enjoy the miscommunication that seems to be going on throughout the whole series. The writing style also doesn’t work for me.
I was really hoping to love this one.
I would still recommend picking it up if you loved the first book 🧡
