Lily Armitage is returning to Endgame House after 21 years. Her family used to play a Christmas game that will now serve as an inheritance game among the cousins. The one that finds the right key to the secret room will inherit the house. But Lily doesn't want to own the house; she was dragged into the game because her recently deceased aunt promised Lily she would learn the truth behind her mother's death if she stayed and solved all the clues. Endgame House is not done claiming lives, one of them is stabbed after the game commences, and no one knows who did it.
I was really invested in the story at the beginning but lost interest as the story progressed. The culprit was very obvious from the start, though the twist was something I didn't see coming.
