Red Handed

I really liked this book! I love when the FMC is an actual badass and not just saying she is then relying on someone else when the time comes. Although there were still a few of those moments when one of the MMCs had to save her I could overlook it for the most part. I do think she was a little more talk than show but overall she had some badass moments so I’m just ignoring the rest.
The only other part that annoyed me was the obvious put down of the other women in the book. Even her own sister when she kept referencing how she had a bunch of suitcases, took forever to get ready, only did superficial things and made her appeared pretty shallow quite frankly. Although it could have been some underlining resentment Raegan had toward Sophie, I don’t think that was the intent. Either way it’s was another thing for the most part I could overlook because I liked the rest of the book so much.
I did really enjoy the twists of this book though. The authors did a pretty good job of hinting there was something the guys were hiding without giving away too much. I did guess it right at the beginning but then I completely forgot about it throughout the rest of the book until the ending when I knew shit was going to hit the fan. I don’t care whether or not I guess plot twists in book so I still really enjoying watching how it unfolded and went right into the next book.
I was between 3 and 4 stars for this book but I didn’t even want to wait to read the next book to even just rate this one so I think that a good indicator that this book deserves four stars. I overall really liked liked this book and am excited to see where the series goes!
