There was some rather obvious (in my opinion) development that occured and even guessing the outcome, I still had an enjoyable time with the journey.  I don't feel particularly gripped by the story, since I don't think I'll pick up the final book in the near future even though there was a bit of a cliffhanger.

Maybe it's because everyone seems so horny?
