Near perfection for Ana Huang. Vuk is an amazingly well-thought-out, morally dark, grey MMC, and Ayana is a breath of fresh air, mostly sunny FMC.
Their dynamic is brilliant, and once the sparks begin to fly, it is a terrible but immensely satisfying slow burn until BOOM fireworks. The angst, the pain, the hilarious parts, the sweet parts, and (use your imagination) the voice. Ungh.
The action is fun and tense, the stakes are well-plotted, and I am glad the usual formula wasn't completely adhered to for our improbable couple.
