Dad Bod Orc is a fast paced bodyguard / monster romance that follows Harlowe, a famous actress, whose dad calls in a favor from his friend Roc, to guard his daughter after she receives threatening letters.

Harlowe had first met Roc as a teenager, when he used to come to her house for dinner, but hasn't seen him in years so their first meeting was a bit of an eye opener for them both after all these years.
As these two get reacquainted,  there's instant chemistry that they both try to fight until it becomes impossible to resist each other.

I enjoyed the story. It was entertaining and gave us cinnamon roll hero, forbidden romance, age gap, and forced proximity. There were some minor misunderstandings and some obstacles but through it all I was rooting for these two.

This book is part of a series (all written by different authors) about dad bod monsters and I'll definitely go check out the others.
It was an entertaining, sweet read and great as a palate cleanser.  I would definitely recommend it.
