Just do yourself a favor and read this book. I have never felt so safe reading a book before and Meet Cute Diary was truly a wonderful experience. Noah was a fantastic main character. Others have said he was annoying, but I thought that he was a realistically flawed 16 year old. I loved that there was a trans mc and trans love interest and that they both had different journeys and feelings towards their identities as trans people. As someone with anxiety I also appreciated the portrayal of Devin’s anxiety, I thought it was well written and talked about in a way that wasn’t shameful or embarrassing. I could honestly go on and on about how fantastic this book was and how happy it made me to see this kind of representation in a way I never have before, but instead you should just read it and see it all for yourself.
