i don't give out five stars reviews very often. for some reason i always find small details to fixate on, things that i can't accept. so five stars are not easy for me. but this book, though. it took my stomach and crumbled to the floor, it brought me to tears and filled me with the love of a family that isn't even mine. how could i not give some of that intense, beautiful love back?
