Loved Harper and Dan, but the insta-love of it all and the super flowerly descriptions of how every singggggle thing the other did made them feel was almost TOO lovey dovey for me, because it lasted the ENTIRE book! I think the insta-love of it all made it feel draggy to me in the middle, because they'd already been so into each other for so long. Where was the story gonna go?? But I enjoyed the ultimate conflict & resolution. And loved that Eddings flipped the proposal ending, because I was about to say all the same things Harper was saying when she thought it was a proposal!
