One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus

5.0

As I read, I started liking the characters, but, like the cover said, one of them was lying and I was honestly scared of getting too 'attached' to them only to get my heart crushed by the ending. That's how good the writing was. Suddenly we are immersed in the lives of teens who are each a suspect for their scandalous classmates' murder. We get to see a side of them that the rest of the world doesn't, we get to see their thought process and their feelings to the fact that one of the other three could have done it. We also see developments in their life (not gonna say bc obv spoilers).
