Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy
3.0
This was alright. It’s a book about a girl with cancer, who has this “to-do” list to complete before she passes, but when she goes into remission, she has to face the consequences of her actions from completing her “to-do” list. It wasnt anything I thought it would be. I thought most of it would focus on the list, but it didn’t really much at all.
Honestly, Alice was just flat out mean. I understand that Julie Murphy was writing a probably accurate character for a fed up teenage girl, but geez. She was mean, and actually just kind of annoying.
Harvey was precious. I felt awful for him the entire book because all Alice did was just push him around. I liked Harvey a lot though.
This was okay, nothing awesome, but not bad. Easy read.
