I’ve never seen a book decribe longing so well (and I’ve read a fair share of fanfiction lol).
I do feel that the book could’ve been more edited; the whole part on Rome for instance seems unnecessarily long.
Also, the age gap did not bother me at first because I thought that the power unbalance would be touched upon, but it is not?? I feel like the movie handled that aspect better with the modified ending (forgive me book lovers).
