The Passion of Chelsea Manning: The Story of the Suspect Behind the Largest Security Breach in U.S. History by Chase Madar

4.0

Before reading The Passion of Chelsea Manning, I listened to a podcast about Manning and the leaks. This book is much more flattering toward Manning and doesn't try to pathologize or vilify Manning. Instead, the book reveals how unjust and hypocritical the U.S. government and military really are. It's a very intriguing read, especially if your unfamiliar with more recent U.S. military history (I was an oblivious kid during the period the book talks the most about).
