Crashed Out by Tessa Bailey

4.0

Tessa Bailey did a great job writing Sarge as an alpha males who is hot, controlling but not too much, dirty talking, protective and driven. The sex scenes between Sarge and Jasmine were spicy.

The plot device of his sister, River, not letting him stay in her house because she didn't want her daughter to get confused at a man staying there who was just going to leave was REALLY weak. Also, River working two jobs even though her successful, rich brother sent her money every month, was so unbelievable. No mother who likes her child chooses to work two jobs instead of spending time with her kid.

I had no problem with Jasmine not wanting to get involved with Sarge since she was almost 30 and he was 22. That's a fairly big age difference at that age. What I didn't like was once she decided she wanted Sarge she still let the fact that other people would judge her get in the way of what she wanted.
