The book that started it all for me.

I'm probably not gonna say anything that hasn't been said before but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. And I will accept zero, and I do mean ZERO, criticism on it.

As a woman in STEM myself I can relate so much with Olive. My heart broke for the academia problems she was going through which are very similar to mine when I was in her position. As silly as it may seem to others, I really was able to look at it from another perspective and am feeling lighter than when I first started reading this book. It's the first time I'm reading a STEM romance and I'm in love. My first Ali Hazelwood book but definitely not my last.

The pining, longing, tension had me in a chokehold. The way Adam cares for Olive and would do everything and anything for her had me giggling and kicking my feet in the air with a passion. I will never be over this book and I never want to be.

Dr. Adam Carlsen is another type of man and I just want to know where I can find mine. I dare say, one of the best book boyfriends out there. And the 'touch the girl I'm in love with again and I will kill you' scene lives rent free in my mind.

Tropes:
-Professor/student romance
-Fake dating
-Forced proximity
-Grumpy x sunshine
-Touch her and die
-0.5🌶️

I cannot recommend this book enough and I can guarantee that Ali Hazelwood has become an auto buy author for me!
