Future space adventures are always so fun.

A lot of the world building was good but I wish they explained the religious faction of this system a lot more and about their chosen one leader- a lot about that part of the plot was brushed over and dropped in like Parmesan after.

The two romances we got were cute but I think a little too much time was spent on them and not enough on the plot but I can see people enjoying the focus on them.
The Pilot and the Priestess were my favourite to read cause it wasn’t like brooding back and forth conflict it had an actual problem that was causing the slow burn.

The ending felt a little rushed to me as it tied up a lot of loose ends pretty quickly without much explanation. We got a more in depth shopping trip than we did about breaking into a space Prison.

But overall I had fun reading it.
It had a really good idea that kept you hooked and enough going on in the plot to make you want to see what happens and that’s all you need for a Sci-Fi type novel.
That cliffhanger was good so I will eventually read the next ones just to see what the hell they planned next.
