The Winner's Kiss
by Marie Rutkoski
As one of my oldest TBRs veterans I probably should have read this when I first bought the book. I wasn't invested in the characters and the story dragged on a little too long for me. I was a little bored listening to the story but reading book one and two kept me listening so I could found out what happens to these characters.
I liked the writing style, and the author does a great job with the war description/political intrigue but the world felt a little bland in other ways and the characters felt a little one dimensional in comparison to the other two books in this series.
The secondary characters in this book were interesting though and another reason I continued on with the story!
I am glad to finally finish one of my oldest TBR veterans though!
