Social media is certainly a great way to meet others and make friends, but it can also take a hold on your life. This manga centers on an extremely popular social networking app called Real Account. It suddenly puts their users in a virtual death game, ran by a crazed smiley masked guy, that could put them and their followers in grisly deaths. High schooler Ataru is one of the virtually trapped and will do whatever it takes to save his own life, and others as well.
This manga has a great premise and makes it so chilling and gripping. It's like "Ready Player One" meets social media with a killer game show feel. There's a good amount of story and gore and a likable protagonist that makes the first entry go off well. B+ (83%/Very Good)
