The world building is cool! The plot is all right. I read it for the dragon character and queer themes. The magic in the story is done by letters and words. I would have liked more of this magic.
The writing needed editing. Why didn’t somebody edit this book? I agree with other reviewers about telling rather than showing, and repetition, “there’s no time.”
