In Too Deep by Jayne Ann Krentz

I really liked the premise of this book. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the first book of the Looking Glass trilogy is actually a smaller series in the middle of the Arcane Society series, which means that I lost A LOT of the background information that I really needed to be 100% invested in this novel. That definitely colors my rating a little bit. However, I enjoyed the book enough that I am interested in going back to start at the beginning of the Arcane Society novels, which is exciting because it's a whole new paranormal romance series, and I can't wait to get wrapped up in their tale. In general, a good read. The characters were complex yet relatable, and they were just messed up enough that it felt kind of real. I'm excited to get to the background on these characters a little more, and I recommend that you get involved too!
