I like Laing’s work, her writing style and interests are deep and varied and I admire the way she weaves her ideas together with the physicality of the landscapes she finds herself in. They’re emotionally raw and unique and informative. This book just didn’t tickle my fancy. I’m looking forward to reading her other works soon though!
