The Bookshop on the Corner
by Jenny Colgan
This was a terribly disappointing book. I was hoping for a “cozy” read, but instead it was boring with not much plot. Nina and her love interests made me bonkers (seriously, Merrick! And then getting mad at Lennox over his hesitancy and divorce). There was so much potential in the idea of this book, and it was lost in the tangential stories. I wish more time was spent on Ainsley’s character. I will say, the epilogue was my favorite part.
