This book was the third book in a trilogy, with a lot of overlapping scenes with previous books. Reading the other two books is critical to following this book. I even had to go back and reread a bit of the second book to piece some things together/figure out if I had missed things from the second book.
I like how interconnected this book was with the other two, but I disliked how much the timeline jumped around to accomplish it. It made the story feel very choppy and unevenly paced, which caused me to lower the rating by a half of a star.
