Scythe by Neal Shusterman

4.0

Things I liked about this book: the Citra/Rowan dynamic, the concept of scythes and the mental battle that comes with it, and the twists. What I didn’t like so much was that something felt off with the world building. It just seemed like kind of a fake world sometimes, I think I needed more time devoted to it at the beginning or more stories of people separate from the Scythedom living in it. I enjoyed reading this for sure, just felt like something was missing. Curious to read the sequels for sure.
