Marshall's writing is positively hilarious and his theories on geopolitics are interesting but unfortunately the book is bogged down by his insistence on American exceptionalism? And while I understand that this is literally a book about geopolitics, I think it failed to take other angles into account when trying to analyze why things happened, etc.
