Lady Killers: Deadly Women Throughout History by Tori Telfer

4.0

Lots of poison! This was a pretty quick read and I enjoyed most of the stories (although the details started to blur together towards the end because some of the stories are pretty similar). I understand why the author decided to exclude more recent murders (as she explains in the conclusion), but I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more if I could read those stories and be a bit bummed out by them (I'm a sucker for a good, sad story). I really liked the author's style of writing and the critical lens through which she researched these murders.
