What an incredible read! I adore Dostoyevsky for this novel! Crime and Punishment is truly about a man struggling with his own existence after he commits a crime. Raskolnikov, the main character, struggles with the guilt that tears at his soul, and the impact this has on others in his life. This novel is full of great characters, characters I love and hate. Razumikhin, Dunya, and Sonya were my favorites. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to try out Russian literature, wanting to read a classic, and wanting to read a story about humanity, full of flaws and joys that stand out.
