Saucer: Savage Planet by Stephen Coonts

2.0

The third book in Stephen Coonts' Saucer series appears to suffer from a sense of purpose. When reading it, it feels like the president conveys the thoughts and emotions of the author, of having enough of the main characters and not knowing how things will end. Given the books ending I am still a bit curious about where the series will go from here (if at all), but currently don't care if it will or won't continue. The first book is still the best of the three and neither of the follow-ups has captured the sense of wonder and adventure that the first book had.
