I like the world and a lot of the characters in this series, but this book suffers from middle book syndrome.
My favorite parts of the book were George, Jack, and Gaston.
The romance was rushed and unbelievable. I didn't love the mmc or the fmc. The mmc didn't have much personality and the fmc was a know-it-all. The entire main conflict of the book wasn't exciting enough and the villain was an afterthought.
