Broken Fighter by Maggie Cole

5.0

Nora and Boris have loved each other for as long as they both can remember. Never acting on it until later in life, always wishing their circumstances were different and being together wouldn't be an issue.

Two hardhead families, one a crime family & the other not, makes being together almost feel impossible. Due to this, they fight the pull they've always had. Until they can't anymore.

Boris and Nora give in to what they've longed for only for Nora to turn around and push Boris away. The fear for the families taking over the love she has in her heart.

Back and forth they go until finally it's all laid out that their love is what matters and their baby is what matters most.

However, the fear of how the families will react to the news of their relationship and their child is nothing compared to the threats that linger in the background. Other Mob families are working to destroy their happiness and break them completely.

What those families don't realize, is the Ivanov's and the O'Malleys realize that they are stronger together and no one gets away with threatening either of them.

The emotions I felt reading this book made me excited to turn to the next page. You know a book is well written when you have legit emotions towards characters. Even though I knew part of the outcome (learned from Ruthless Stranger), I was still frustrated, yelling at them to stop being so crazy when it came to each other. But thats okay because I absolutely love when stories make me feel this way. A definite must read.

**Broken Fighter is book 2 in the Mafia Wars series and they should absolutely be read in order. Some scenes may be a trigger for some**
