Hard to put down and hard to read, at the same time. Great characters with a good romance, but there is so much more to this book that I found myself trying to figure out which genre was a better fit. Honest portrayal of domestic violence with a heartfelt author's note (thank you to the publisher's for including this in the audiobook). Strong trigger warnings but great supporting characters and hopeful ending.
