It`s written like a classic with a beautiful writing style. I should definitely see this book becoming a classic in years to come. Like how The song of Achilles is already a part of Bloomsbury's modern classics collection.

However since it is written the way it is, I can easily see and understand that this can become a boring read for some. It took some time for me to get into the story before I got to the point where I couldn`t put it down. Until I couldn`t stop reading before I reach the end. I got hooked even tho I found the story boring compared to the other book I read because I found it so beautiful and real in many ways. And I found out after reading this, that is exactly what I needed. And also helped me get out of my reading slump.

I give it a 4 because I miss the diversity, the lack of non-western cultures that the Author could have included. Even tho I can see the reason behind why the author didn`t include non-western cultures, the main character is already experiencing the struggle of being a woman in western society. However if the main character was a man, the story could and would probably be a lot different.

If you looking for action, diversity, and stories about other cultures this is not the book for you. But if you wish for beautifully written texts, an inspiring and reflecting story, this is the book for you.

Hope this review helps. <3
