i have no words for this book. It took me almost 3 years to make it through this entire trilogy, not because i didn’t love the writing. not because I didn’t love the characters. not because the story wasn’t entertaining, but because i wasn’t ready to let go. I wasn’t ready to be one step closer to saying goodbye to the brothers Lynch with each book finished. I love Maggie’s writing, her writing evokes things, makes me feel things. and I have always adored Ronan Lynch from the very beginning in the Raven Boys.
Now this book though? Truly came with all the fuckery that’s to be expected during a final installment of a Maggie Stiefvater series. Towards the end I had no idea which way was up and which way was down and what the fuck was going on and how we got here. But I was along for the ride, my heart breaking for Ronan and Declan along the way.
I’m so glad we get a happy ending and even a little cameo of the Gangsey at the end. I will say though, can’t fucking stand Hennessy keep her FAR away from me. Jordan? now she’s a queen. Hennessy? can’t do it.
So many thoughts, so many feelings 🥲 pls send help
