This is the first book i have read by this author, and i can’t wait to read more. Thankfully this book can be read as a stand-alone without getting too confusing about other character’s and events that happened in the first book of the series, in fact there is only one name from previous book you end up not being fully sure of the connection/history, but it does not take away from this story line at all. Jay (former bad-boy) and Dakota (nurse) are absolutely great. The first few chapters to me felt a little repetitive with Jay’s inner turmoil but i love how understanding Dakota is with all of Jay’s issues. And holy plot twist later in the book. The suspense is great even if it did take a while to get to it, it has you on the edge of your seats
Graphic: Death, Gun violence, Blood, Stalking
