Pageboy by Elliot Page

emotional reflective medium-paced

5.0

I found Page's memoir very thoughtful. Before I started I would have said the only thing we had in common was being trans. This reads very earnestly as an attempt to show the hard, looping path of coming to terms with himself and his queerness. The suffocation of never being seen for himself comes through, and some of Page's experiences are pretty upsetting.
