The Bone Shard Daughter
by Andrea Stewart
3.5 stars. Mephi fan club.
This book has a really unique island world that I wish could have been developed just a bit more. I hated the constructs and experiments. They grossed me out and kind of tipped this book into a sci-fi subgenre that I'm not usually here for. But I did really like the multiple POVs, the diverse relationships, and the sea-focused setting!
