Not for me.
This was…fine.
Lots of buildup and very little resolution.
It just wasn’t for me. The emotional connection lacked. And I almost feel like a chapter was missing between the cabin and returning to reality. Or the time skip was choppy. Maybe both.
I didn’t get to see the resolutions on the page and that annoyed me.
It’s light and mostly fluffy, except for the unnecessary medical drama.
Ellie was a brat. Henry had a lot of personal demons that seemed to disappear once everything settled. Introducing issues to sweep them away is a huge pet peeve of mine.
