I’m a sucker for Japanese slice-of-life and this book fit the bill. The chapters about Takiji acting as Hakaru’s grandpa and Azuza and Nayuta’s was so heartwarming Loved how all of the characters in each of the chapters came together at the end. Can’t wait for volume 2.
Graphic: Body shaming, Bullying, Grief, Death of parent, Toxic friendship
Moderate: Ableism, Abandonment
