The Ironwood Tree by Holly Black, Tony DiTerlizzi

4.0

Overall, well done. The more creatures we learn about the more dangers we learn of in the world.

Still reading well. This particular book seems to have some "Snow White"esque feels. The dwarves and glass case in particular.

I wish we got to know more of the creature that was Jared, but not Jared... It would have made for an interesting story line.

The glossy picture in the middle, was kind of lost on me... It's not actually outwardly said (in this book anyway), that Jared is actually getting expelled for the knife incident. It's hard to say that it's easy to assume based off the mothers actions because all she was was quiet.

With the exception of that, this book still reads well, and quickly.
